Porsche 992.1 GT3 RS Side Skirts — Carbon Fiber

Replace the factory black plastic side skirts and barge boards on your 992.1 GT3 RS with true carbon fiber pieces engineered to match the rest of the car’s exposed weave aero.

The 992.1 GT3 RS arrives from Stuttgart with one of the most aggressive side aero packages ever fitted to a road-going 911—but the side skirts and the barge boards behind the front wheels (also commonly referred to as turning vanes) are textured black plastic pieces that don’t match the carbon fiber theme found elsewhere on the car. RSC’s carbon fiber side skirt set is a reverse-engineered, direct OEM replacement that mounts using the same factory hardpoints as the originals, delivering the visual cohesion the GT3 RS deserves. The set includes both the main side skirt panels and the carbon fiber barge boards that sit behind the front wheels—restoring full carbon continuity along the entire side of the car.

Beyond the aesthetic upgrade, the carbon fiber construction allows the parts to accept paint protection film—something the textured surface of the factory plastic skirts cannot accommodate. For owners who track the car, attend events, or simply drive the GT3 RS as it was intended to be driven, PPF compatibility means the lower leading edges of the skirts and the high-impact surfaces of the barge boards can finally be protected against stone chips, gravel, and curb rash without compromising the finish. We all know how the black plastic seems to acquire rock chips and discoloration year after year. Carbon fiber will add a nice high-gloss touch that stands the test of time, or experiment with satin paint protection film for a unique, durable look that the plastic parts can’t match.

Construction & Materials

Manufactured using pre-impregnated (prepreg) 245 GSM 2x2 twill carbon fiber, carefully selected to match the OEM weave as closely as possible. The material is saturated with aerospace-grade epoxy resin, then autoclave-cured under precise pressure and temperature for maximum strength-to-weight ratio. This is the same manufacturing process used on Porsche factory carbon fiber supercar components and produces the high-end supercar fit and finish discerning owners demand. Both the side skirts and the barge boards utilize a special high-temperature resin system that resists discoloration and warping not found on many higher priced options. Finished with a premium UV-inhibiting clear coat that resists hazing and yellowing under harsh sunlight, maintaining that showroom finish for years. The flat, consistent weave pattern achieved through autoclave curing can’t be matched by less expensive wet-laid products.

Fitment

Designed exclusively for the Porsche 992.1 GT3 RS:

•       2023–2026 Porsche 911 992.1 GT3 RS

Note: These side skirts and barge boards are engineered specifically for the 992.1 GT3 RS and do not fit the standard 992 GT3, 992 Turbo, 992 Carrera, or any earlier 991-generation models, which use different rocker panel and side aero geometry.

Installation

Installation uses factory mounting locations—no drilling, no cutting, no permanent modifications required to your vehicle. Installation is reversible, allowing owners to retain the OEM parts for future use if desired.

Professional installation is recommended due to the size and structural nature of the side skirts and the precision required to maintain proper alignment with the surrounding factory aero components, including the barge boards. RSC strongly suggests using a shop experienced with carbon fiber installations of this nature.

Why Choose RSC

With no factory carbon fiber side skirt option available for the 992.1 GT3 RS, RSC’s reverse-engineered carbon fiber replacement set is the highest quality upgrade path on the market. Where the factory plastic skirts and barge boards can’t be wrapped or protected with paint protection film, the RSC carbon fiber components accept PPF for long-term protection of the car’s lower flanks and front wheel area—a meaningful upgrade for any owner who actually drives the car.

RSC’s GT3 RS carbon fiber components are available exclusively through racingsportconcepts.com or our approved dealer network. That distribution model ensures authentic construction, consistent quality control, and direct support from the team that engineered the parts—without the parallel-import quality concerns that come with sourcing carbon fiber components from unverified channels.

All RSC GT3 RS components are manufactured together using identical materials to prevent mismatches across pieces. We do not source any of these parts from third-party resellers—every component is developed by RSC.
