After 3 years of constant painstaking research and development Racing Sport Concepts is proud to launch its new line of carbon fiber aerodynamic components for the next generation of high-performance automobile enthusiasts.

For the last three years we have tested every piece of technology, CAD software, autoclaves, material vendors, painters, paint suppliers, aerodynamics experts, race car drivers, IMSA & Indycar crew chiefs, OEM engineers, everything possible to design the best possible product. This front splitter and sister products create a new standard in the aftermarket industry.
Highly Accurate CFD Simulations
We started by scanning the 991.2 GT3 and building our CFD model to match real world experience on the 911 platform by using aerodynamics experts that developed highly accurate CFD simulations from working for dozens of 911 cup car teams. With our baseline accuracy significantly higher than if we had to develop a model from scratch and validate it all ourselves, while saving hundreds in thousands in development, we began to refine our design in the virtual wind tunnel. Using dozens of simulations and design iterations to revise our designs to increase aerodynamic efficiency.
Next we prototyped each and every part multiple times. We actually made 12 3D Printed full size splitters for the GT3 to get the exact proportions and fitment. You will notice a perfect amount of tension upon installation as well as finely tuned mounting tabs creating a OEM level installation with no modification to the vehicle whatsoever. We also tested things like ground clearance to make sure the part remained functional in street driving situations. This product has been tested at 180MPH at Daytona International by in-house testing team.
After locking in our design we fabricated the highest quality tooling by once again leveraging our ability to use the raw CAD data to mill out tooling out of superior materials that cannot be used to "splash molds" of a hand molded part with no CAD data. Our advanced carbon fiber tooling has the exact same coefficient of expansion as the part material which provides for extremely smooth surface quality that is unmatched industry wide.
After a part has cured in the autoclave we use a ultra premium german made CNC mill to trim each part identically to the next instead of trimming by hand as most other manufacturers or brands do. This allows us to maintain fitment across the life of the part by ensuring everything is trimmed to our exact specs time after time.
OEM Certified Paint
Finally after trimming we transport our front splitters across town to 1 of less than 100 OEM certified paint shops that have the ability to use a true OEM water based polyurethane clear coat system that is identical to that used on new cars leaving the factory. This final step includes 6-10 coats of paint to reach a paint thickness spec within 3-4 microns of our target depth. As a result this clear coat will not become milky or hazy as seen with cheaper aftermarket alternatives. In addition, this gloss coating has the most advanced UV inhibitors commercially available to OEM suppliers, many not available to non-factory certified body shops.
